Thanks to Jamie for this last one.

I was back in New York this past weekend. A very special few days, and one incredible night on Saturday.

Love and miss you, Scotto.

Time to crack a beer

July 22nd, 2011 by ben

Not too long ago we came close to shuttering benandcaddie.com. The site seemed redundant with Facebook, Flickr and Twitter accounting for most of our digital lives. We also had a site for our creative work, including a blog, at All Day I’ve Been Thinking. Over time the site at All Day became more about the blog and less about the work it was meant to showcase. We were left with two very unfocused sites. I tried a few methods of CPR, but nothing really stuck. It became obvious that we needed three sites. All Day had to evolve into two; one a creative showcase, the other a home for All Day’s blog component. In addition we wanted to keep a personal blog going, if only to bombard the grandparents with photos of Eleanor. This all sounded great, but the work was daunting to say the least. Today, after a half-million hours (give or take), 40-50 large Sapporos, and more than a few disapproving looks from Caddie as I stayed up past my bedtime, the work is done.

All Day I’ve Been Thinking: What’s inspiring us. Music. Design. Photography. Etc.
Ben+Caddie: A site to showcase the work that doesn’t fall under the Mixed Media Workshop umbrella.
B&C+E: What you’re looking at.

Not to mention, I slipped a redesign of the Mixed Media Workshop site in there as well.

Sapporo time!

Happy 4th!
