Stalker Shoot
September 23rd, 2009 by ben
Caddie shot her short film about a week ago. It’s fairly amazing what goes into something that’ll be about five minutes long; 12+ hour days over the weekend, and that’s not counting the details that went into the months leading up. A HUGE thank you goes out to everybody who acted in, worked on, or just generally pitched in and helped. In no order whatsoever; Nicole, Jayce, Kayt, Claudia, Jim, Meghan, Matt, Jordan, Mike, Julia, Dan, Anne, Heather, and Kelly.
The footage is now in the editing room, more on this front when Caddie’s ready to share. In the meantime, we’ve posted a few behind-the-scenes shots on Flickr. Take a look…

Speak Now for Equality
November 1st, 2008 by ben

As some of you know, Caddie is working on a documentary about marriage equality in America. While the doc will be ongoing for a few years, she’s releasing a few spots for Tuesday’s election. On the ballot in California is Proposition 8, which would eliminate the rights of many couples in California. Cad’s first two PSAs are live:
Also on YouTube:
1. Speak Now for Equality :: PSA #1
2. Speak Now for Equality :: PSA #2
A bit more from Caddie: “Turns out, creating PSA’s is no easy task, hence the late release date. I plan to continue this project after the election – regardless of the outcome we obviously have a long way to go.
Please send on to friends and family – especially those who may be California citizens.
Special thanks to everyone who helped out, participated and sent kind words. Extra special thanks to Monique Reymond, Mark Gerstner, Jim Gilbane, Meghan Scott and Ben Kopke who were integral to the production of this piece and all that follow.”

Not to be confused with “Caddie vs. the surfboard.”
Five Islands
July 29th, 2008 by ben
We’re in Maine this week, which means we just returned from Five Islands Lobster Company. Caddie is slightly allergic to crustacean. She avoids them almost all year, saving up that little bit of tolerance for that one annual pilgrimage to the wharf.
