Caddie shot her short film about a week ago. It’s fairly amazing what goes into something that’ll be about five minutes long; 12+ hour days over the weekend, and that’s not counting the details that went into the months leading up. A HUGE thank you goes out to everybody who acted in, worked on, or just generally pitched in and helped. In no order whatsoever; Nicole, Jayce, Kayt, Claudia, Jim, Meghan, Matt, Jordan, Mike, Julia, Dan, Anne, Heather, and Kelly.

The footage is now in the editing room, more on this front when Caddie’s ready to share. In the meantime, we’ve posted a few behind-the-scenes shots on Flickr. Take a look…

MMW & AN EDUCATION

September 5th, 2009 by ben

AN EDUCATION Mixed Media Workshop has been fairly busy over the past few months. We just launched a site for the Sony Classics release AN EDUCATION (written by Nick Hornby). We’ve also been working on adapting a few foreign film sites to coincide with their U.S. openings. Check out COCO BEFORE CHANEL, which went live a few weeks ago. Our rebuild of THE DAMNED UNITED‘s U.K. site should be going live any day now. Any. Day. Now. Thanks to Karen Yung for all her help on AN EDUCATION and COCO, and Manu Reyna and Matthew Marhefka on THE DAMNED UNITED. And, as always, big thanks to Sony Pictures Classics!

easy virtue

Mixed Media Workshop has been busy, and I’ve been a bit behind on my posting as a result. Since PARIS 36 we’ve launched two film sites for Sony Pictures Classics, EASY VIRTUE and ADORATION. Also just going live is our site for trailer production company Celluloid Heroes.

Big thanks to Karen Yung for her programming work on EASY VIRTUE and Celluloid Heroes (and great design of EASY VIRTUE).

As much as I love when Ben uploads episodes of Entourage on my ipod for long flights, I think David Lynch makes a good point.
